Goodbye 2012!

We've been busy, busy around here. Here's a little snapshot of what our Fall has looked like. Call it a resolution if you want, but this year I want to be better about taking pictures. No pictures for now, but hopefully some next time, okay?

September:
  • Jeff started Porterbrook, and we began our cohort meetings every Sunday.
  • We moved into our house September 15.
  • Jeff started his new job at Texas Wesleyan as a recruiter the next Monday.
 October:
  • Traveled to Arkadelphia for Ouachita's Homecoming and Tiger Tunes.
  • Jeff's sister, Heather, and mom came to visit. We painted our living room, visited the state fair, and went to our city group's block party.
  • Celebrated Jeff's 25th birthday!
  • Hosted a Halloween Party at our house.
November:
  • Jeff led a "Saturday Seminar" for our city group. We discussed the "why and how" we read the Bible.
  • The Brock Lady Eagles playoffs were in full swing, and we got to watch Keith win his first state title!
  • Celebrated my 24th birthday!
  • Drove to Branson to have Thanksgiving with the Green's: Silver Dollar City, outlet shopping, and the Dixie Stampede.
  • Visited Wes and Natasha May (and the kiddos) on the way back from Missouri. We are so blessed by their frienship and spent some much needed time catching up.
December:
  • Officially became partners at the Paradox church.
  • After months of Jeff apprenticing, received the green light to begin the Ridglea City Group. Jeff and I will be leading this group that has multiplied out of the Wedgwood group. (We will launch this Thursday!)
  • Girl's Day with Macie at First Monday in Canton.
  • Went on our fancy Christmas date. This year we saw the Nutcracker at Bass Hall and ate at Ferre downtown.
  • Accepted a job at UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth. I will be a Senior Financial Aid Counselor beginning January 16th.
  • Had two weeks off from work (that's one of the many reasons why I LOVE higher education).
  • Celebrated our two year anniversary a little early with a trip to Granbury.
  • Spent Christmas at Mom's with everyone home (minus Letty, she is still in England). My heart was so very happy.
  • Amberly came to visity, celebrating NYE with us in Fort Worth.
January is here, and Jeff and I are back at work. Events, meetings, and trips are already being put on our calendar, and we are looking forward to them with much anticipation. We can see God moving and leading us to some really big things this year. But, no matter what this year has in store we are looking forward to 2013 with the hope and everlasting joy that our Savior brings.
